Ben je geïnteresseerd om bij te dragen aan het oplossen van complexe maatschappelijke problemen door interdisciplinaire, cross-level samenwerking? Doe dan mee met de Thematic Interdisciplinary Challenge (TIC)! In de TIC cursus van 10-weken (7,5 EC) werken professionals, Master studenten én Bachelor-3 studenten van uiteenlopende achtergronden in interdisciplinaire teams. Samen wordt er gewerkt aan oplossingen voor real world problemen. We bieden in samenwerking met verschillende maatschappelijke partners TICs aan rond vier uitdagingen: Green Teens, Drowning Deltas, Contesting Governance en Responsible Foods. De cursus laat jou ervaren hoe jouw kennis en specifieke vaardigheden ingezet kunnen worden bij het zoeken en implementeren van oplossingen voor prangende maatschappelijke vraagstukken.

• Prerequisites: No substantive background knowledge required. Open to Bachelor-3/Master students and professionals with HBO or WO degree or higher.
• Cost: students – no additional tuition fees; professionals – €950-.

Are you interested in contributing towards solving real-world, complex societal problems? Then join the Thematic Interdisciplinary Challenge (TIC) in period 3 at Utrecht University! Through the TIC course, you can earn 7.5 EC while collaborating in teams made up of 3rd-year Bachelor students, Master students and professionals from various disciplines. Together, you develop an interdisciplinary approach towards solving real societal problems related to one of the TIC challenge themes: Drowning Deltas, Green Teens, Contesting Governance and Responsible Foods.
